Image for the poem You

You

You've made my hunger my thirst.
And then poured of yourself, until I was submersed

You've made my pieces a whole.
Just by being, then filling this YOU sized hole.

You've placed meaning where there was
insignificance. Then in your way, showed there always was...Then you added to that significance.

And yes, you've made making love quite casual.
                      (Hear me out)
Somewhere along  our celestial walk, our love far surpassed something that was merely sensual.

You've changed a heart, that had been radicalized.
Placed me in front of a myself, and showed me what that beating really symbolized.

You make a Heaven of this Hell.
And then you lift me in a way, that damn near made me glad I fell.
