My conscious mind of gloom
The urge to air it out
Hopeless days are behind me
I look up to the stars and reminisce
Am I a mere reflection of myself
Or whom I paint to be
A perfect picture
Can breath out a smile in me
Always peeking from the sidelines ,
wondering if she'd let me in
Burns in my insides
I'm so keen to the wind
What mysteries lie beneath your gray
Be all beauty be beautiful ,
yet not all beautiful be beauty
This encompasses your frame
Often challenging to settle at times
The weight of my words
But the Sun never complains
The brood quiet in your heart
And it shows when it rains
How do I commit to what we have become of today
I down a power move while she watches intently
The underlying whisper of pain
A last bet for tragedy to unite us
Now I'm stuck with this
Photographs of what once would be
Verses cannot bestow more pigment
Enough to construe the kaleidoscope of you.
