Wedding Guest part 1

Slim fit
With a slit
The silk fabric
And studded straps
My hair is carefully clipped in place
I make haste
Late for a friend of a friend’s wedding
My heels colored cream
I wanted to scream
How beautiful I looked was great
But I ran late
Making it on time
I shined
Twas a beautiful day
The sun shined
I hope I looked fine
I muttered to myself
When at last the music started
The crowd rose
How beautiful she looked
Like in a storybook
I wondered
Would I make a wonderful sight
If maybe I was a bride
