Pheonix Rises
Every day you tell me
What I
shouldn’t
couldn’t
wouldn’t do
And this may
Holds true for you
But I
Can
Will
And wont comply.
What you deem for me
in this life
I rise everyday
and do what I must
With little complaints
And sometimes I fuss
For you to stand
Infront of me
And dictate
What you want me to be
Will not go well
For you today
I showed you who I was
In every way
So I’m going to tell you
How this will end
With my hand on this door
And back to you friend
You wanted the fire
Now how does it feel
Do you see the smoke
Is this making it real
Don’t step back
Even if you can
The phoenix has arisen.
And before you she stands
What I
shouldn’t
couldn’t
wouldn’t do
And this may
Holds true for you
But I
Can
Will
And wont comply.
What you deem for me
in this life
I rise everyday
and do what I must
With little complaints
And sometimes I fuss
For you to stand
Infront of me
And dictate
What you want me to be
Will not go well
For you today
I showed you who I was
In every way
So I’m going to tell you
How this will end
With my hand on this door
And back to you friend
You wanted the fire
Now how does it feel
Do you see the smoke
Is this making it real
Don’t step back
Even if you can
The phoenix has arisen.
And before you she stands
