The Tri-Eyed Tribe

In a small wood Far, far, away
In an undiscovered part
Of this big wide world
Lived a very strange race of people
Their average height was only two foot six inches
Which is rather short But not strange
They spoke by making curious clicking noises
Maybe unusual But again, not strange
They were strict vegans
The idea of eating meat of any kind
They found totally repugnant
Yet again, nothing strange in that
What was strange
Was that they all possessed a third eye
Two of which Were exactly in the place
You'd expect to find them
The third eye
Well that lay right inbetween
The other two eyes
Just above where the nose begins
This eye worked independently
From the other two
And would never sleep
Even when it's owner was asleep
With both the other eyes closed
The third eye would remain open
And closed it when it so pleased
Such as when it was lost in deep thought
Or daydreaming Or simply blinking
Not only that
But third eyes would often communicate
With other third eyes This was done
By a whole series of winks, and blinks
It was quite a strange, and unsettling
Thing to behold
Especially If your own third eye
Was a part of the conversation!
