Soothing The Core Of Your Soul (Aqua Therapy)
There is nothing greater than to bond with the water, where the sore of soul and the flight of the spirit merge. Well since I am an Aquarian and my natural passion for water. I have always since I resided in France, always wanted to christen the water. You will find everything from coins, Barbie Dolls, in the Seine River, just to make that wish resonating where does the sky end, one of my questions that prompt me to study the planets, bow unto the stars. I’ve heard we’re reborn to many lives, but we are only committed to one.
I wanted to discuss Aqua Therapy and for those of you who might suffer from some form of arthritis, or who is recovering from an accident that requires physical therapy. Inquiring to see if you would be a better candidate for Aqua Therapy, I would think it may be more suitable for senior citizens or anyone who may have suffered a fracture. There are several factors to take into consideration when pondering if you should consider the benefits versus the pros and the cons.
To be more precise, when you discuss Aqua Therapy, it is always fun to be wiser when overseeing your health. There are also some words your Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist will discuss openly when maintaining your care.
Before I do continue, please be advised individuals with cardiac diseases, for instance, should consult their healthcare provider before participating in aquatic therapy.
Before a patient is lowered into an aqua pool, there are measures to take upon when assessing the patient physical attributes, the weight of the patient buoyancy must support the patient’s weight, and if you suffer from gout or arthritis to the knees this can alleviate some of that joint pain, the end results reducing stress on joints.
This aspect is particularly beneficial for individuals with arthritis, or as I stated, a healing fractured bone, or for those who are overweight or obese those who are overweight. Performing exercises in water is less painful due to decreased joint stress.
When the patient is comfortably in the water, they stand, can continue to move freely without the water’s viscosity, during that period, this is where the muscles, tendons, ligaments get that resistance.
You can build more defined lean muscle mass or strengthening, and the great part, you do not have to use any weights.
Aqua therapy does seem to reduce joint stress and less painful when applying that same concept on land.
Then there is the Hydrostatic Pressure, which is high pressure exerted by water, most patient will tell you this is the best part of the sessions, due in part that hydrostatic pressure does aid in decreasing any swelling and the healing principle is to improve the position of the joint. I had this done when I injured my ankle what, two years ago, I must confess, I could stand briefly, for a second.
Additionally, hydrostatic pressure is also effective in reducing joint and soft tissue swelling caused by injury or arthritis.
Before you even began your Aqua Therapy sessions, including when I was a participate, for me the water had to be set right, what, I am not picky, or a complainer, but it really does, it's that liquidation feeling.
The Aqua Pool’s water temperature should be mellow enough to relax your muscles and in that process of resting those joints, bones, and muscles, the water, when set perfectly can increase the blood flow to your wounded areas. Most who seek the healing properties of Aqua Therapy as a healing prognosis for anyone due to some unforeseen occurrences who must learn to walk once again or utilize their limbs doing just basic bodily maneuverers without pain, or to improve their motor skills.
This is what I would recommend, only if your physician or PT/OT thinks it will repair you to thrive during his/her road to convalescing Patients with muscle spasms, back pain, and fibromyalgia find this aspect of aquatic therapy therapeutic.
The Aftercare
The Aftercare made during aquatic therapy hopefully will extend outside the water. However, walking in water is more tolerable due to buoyancy. When you get out of the Aqua Pool, rest for a few minutes because your body will still feel that weightless effect.
Tropical Sunrise Smoothie Recipe
