Image for the poem Conjure

summoning my powers back to me
I conjure anew
sinister grief expels all belief

there is no light
only darkness from which to feast
dining on shadows I pull fear
no tears will be shed from my soul
I am growing cold

listless hope she is quite dead
seeing through the eyes of a madwoman
better than stuck in my dread

I call to the North
sentient beings of the watch
realize I am among you

the cringing eye sees me
suffocate the greediness within
it does no good

seducing midnight I call
irresistible need feed me
utter Mistress Raven and I am there

craving your lusts
I give in while feeding my own
tumultuous feelings, unlacing my corset
titillating your desires

until you have risen from the ancient tomb I left you in
