Resting Persephone-with Adagio

Rest, as calm water shimmers
within the soul whispers rest
peace course through the veins
blood of tranquility infused
beating heart singing melodies
of rest, peace, and sweet release
gentle whispers of calming lullabies
caress your mortal coil as you repose
 
When the shadow is on the dawning dew
resting in silent quarters upon the yew  
touched by the winding gales in lieu  
of wonder green herbal burning words  
with the lady in the mirror on my mind
composing lullabies in scented psalms
in the cradle of desires of poetic fires  
of shadows dancing for violins debut
