You pierced my heart with a knife,
Unleashing deceit and pain,
Our vows, shattered in this strife,
Leaving me in sorrow's domain.
You failed to see my inner flame,
The essence of my true being,
But now I rise, no longer tame,
Breaking free from your grip, freeing.
I bid farewell with strength and fortitude,
You don't merit my forgiveness,
Your attempts to confine and delude,
Won't trap me in a life of darkness.
