Pink Night
Twilight has a blowsy face.
A rubicund burned horizon.
The euphoric pink sight
seeps into my mind.
The primal color of yearn.
The sun's fuschia blood.
Behold the garden of night.
Patiently waiting black buds
with wombs of starlight.
A rubicund burned horizon.
The euphoric pink sight
seeps into my mind.
The primal color of yearn.
The sun's fuschia blood.
Behold the garden of night.
Patiently waiting black buds
with wombs of starlight.

Dear D,
I’m sorry I missed it but you’ve recreated it beautifully. Great writing describing the colors and shapes. Well done. H🌷

Yes, so vivid. I didn’t have to be there, you just gave it to me. Thank you, Debbie.

Aww. I do desire when I see something so beautiful, to craft it with words so maybe someone else can have that beautiful image too.
Thanks a million for all your encouragement

I like the particular vocabulary used to capture the feeling and imagery of your observation. You provide great expression, and it's exemplified. The metaphors are as of a life-process or birthing of the night, as it flows to the end of the poem. Somewhat feministic qualities, obviously. A nice touch of brevity here too. Overall, great job. Thanks for sharing!
