Surrender
Listen closely, sweet maiden
Can you hear it?
Strain if you must, to listen
Welcome the song of magic on the wind
Surrender
As gentle waves give over to the Moon,
So give yourself to her sacred guidance
Stand closely, dear mother
Can you feel it?
Dig if you must, to touch
Grasp the light from deep within
Surrender
As Summer succumbs to Autumn
So give yourself to the ever-changing seasons
Look closely, wise crone
Can you see it?
Lean in if you must, to behold
View the beauty of all that is before you
As the chrysalis contains the transformation
So give yourself to the power of rebirth
Can you hear it?
Strain if you must, to listen
Welcome the song of magic on the wind
Surrender
As gentle waves give over to the Moon,
So give yourself to her sacred guidance
Stand closely, dear mother
Can you feel it?
Dig if you must, to touch
Grasp the light from deep within
Surrender
As Summer succumbs to Autumn
So give yourself to the ever-changing seasons
Look closely, wise crone
Can you see it?
Lean in if you must, to behold
View the beauty of all that is before you
As the chrysalis contains the transformation
So give yourself to the power of rebirth

Dear L,
Your gracious gentle style still resounds and resonates with all who read you. The beauty in this for me is two fold between life and nature. So prayerful and serene. Absolutely gorgeous. H🌷

The repetition keeps the dialog consistant. This is beautifully done, Luna.

This poem beautifully captures the essence of surrendering to the natural cycles of life and the transformative power of embracing change. The imagery of the maiden, mother, and crone symbolizes the different stages of life and the wisdom gained through each phase. The use of sensory language - hearing, feeling, and seeing - invites the reader to immerse themselves fully in the experience described.
The repetition of "surrender" emphasizes the importance of yielding to the flow of life and relinquishing control. Each stanza depicts a different aspect of surrender - to magic, to guidance, to change, and to transformation - reflecting the multifaceted nature of this concept.
Overall, the poem encourages readers to embrace the beauty and inevitability of change, reminding them of the power found in surrendering to the natural rhythms of existence.
