AT DEATH TWO THINGS TO BE THANKFUL FOR
Years ago I read
a research paper
about what people in
the terminal ward
of a hospital were
thankful for at that
point in their lives,
being so close to death.
Two frequent things
emerged:
(1) "Thankful for having loved someone,
and (2) Thankful for having been loved.
by someone."
What could top these two answers?
LOVE, real LOVE, is, for me, what
matters. It's not the amassing. of wealth
and stuff, being popular or a star, etc.
It's REAL LOVE!
