in my time I have loved
I've loved hard
I've come to realize in some regards I am a young soul
I need to grow in the blossoming light
to flourish into a trusted woman

honesties beauty shines within
I've touched and altered many lives
sigh to touch the soul
it is a heady thing
to love another a vital role

I've failed any many regards
it's the bitter truth
wisdom has been gained by this admittance
I take it very seriously
holding another's fate in my grasp

to change a life
is very impactful
to impart true love
no greater gift
to dishonor this blessing a curse

I want to be a trusted flower in the greater garden
a companion for the eternal
it is with a heavy heart
I confess I may not be ready
no, not this time

I will return to this realm
hopefully to evolve into a woman of respect
taking my thoughts and actions seriously
