The Blue Umbrella
The blue umbrella
Such a pretty sight
Keeps the rain from my face
But my body gets soaked
The blue umbrella
So practical and smart
Weaves in and out of the city streets
Keeping me anonymous
The blue umbrella
Pushed into the sand
My solution for shady sunbathing
My little space on the beach
The blue umbrella
The little hands that hold me
Not keeping me dry
But my accessory for play
The blue umbrella
My trusted friend
Sits in the corner
Waiting for our next adventure
Such a pretty sight
Keeps the rain from my face
But my body gets soaked
The blue umbrella
So practical and smart
Weaves in and out of the city streets
Keeping me anonymous
The blue umbrella
Pushed into the sand
My solution for shady sunbathing
My little space on the beach
The blue umbrella
The little hands that hold me
Not keeping me dry
But my accessory for play
The blue umbrella
My trusted friend
Sits in the corner
Waiting for our next adventure
