The longevity of a fly

One has decided, for the duration,
To set home in my domicile

it also has an excellent detection radar
Even better than the latest Swordfish from India
And can easily evade danger coming from afar
Even from a folded newspaper, a swatter
Or, who knows, from a mini bazooka

But considering that she loves
Bits of rotten fruits, or the remains of a veggie
I shall let a bit of both on the kitchen counter for her to see
Perhaps she will fall for the bait
And thus, in the end, meet her fate.
