My Only Prayer
Bless me for what I crave
Though am not brave
So severe I dread it night and day
And no more I can now bear..
Give me some wings so I can fly
Make my destination faraway
Where I can't touch, feel or hear
Dreamland or land of wonder..
While I roam around still
Give me much time to ponder
Let this be my only prayer
Spare me there and let me pay for my sins here..
Let me overcome my only fear
While it still rains with thunder
And I shall prey on any obstacles
To satiate my inner hunger..
Empty promises and broken dreams
Hit me so hard and made me look
Like this retarded child from a daycare..
