Sequestered immediately triggers this image of something secluded, something hidden. There was this lovely slice of humanity at the beginning. When at the bare bones we are all humans looking for connections with other humans. It’s a “hey, I’m slightly damaged too. Let’s get together”.

The “you’ll never be free - prayers answered” part - I know I wasn’t probably supposed to laugh, but it’s clever wordplay. Interesting you mention the whole cat / mouse vibe in the comments because that’s very much the mindset this piece gives. Both are playing each other in a hidden way. Keeps life exciting I suppose.

Experience has shown me exactly what you said in were both a little damaged so why not just go with it.  Be outside of the norms.  We know what we need and it’s our business only …
