Reflection

Do you ever wonder
If the 'reflection' of you
Wanders away from the mirror
And lives life differently?
Do you ever marvel
At the possibility
That when you leave for work
Your 'reflection' has a better job?
Do you ever look
In the rear view mirror
And wonder if your 'reflection'
Drives a better car than you do?
And in the mirrored walls
Of the pubs and clubs
Do you wonder if your 'reflection'
Is drowning the same sorrows as you?
Or, do you just comb your hair,
Brush your teeth, wash your hands.
And walk away from just a reflection.
As though it was never there.
