Just An Update

Hello, lovely people

Just giving a heads up, that I'll be a bit scarce here, for a while.  I'm not leaving, but I've taken a new position at work and right now, I only have time to log in, once per day.

Backstory:  I've been at the same employer for 36 years now & about 20 years ago, they made some changes to the supervisor positions in the lab.  I did all the work to create the job responsibilities for that, but they passed me by, 6 times over the years for officially having the job myself.  

Politically correct reason why:  because upper management felt there were people better suited for it

The true reason:  I was never, and still not, an ass kissing lackey.

So now that the old guard is completely gone, for a plethora of reasons , I've just stepped into the chemistry supervisor position, where I will manage that department in the laboratories in 3 hospitals in our health care system.

Yes, it's turned into a dumpster fire, and there's much to clean up from the previous squad(s), but the backbone I set in place 20 years ago, is still there-- I just have to reset time and then move it back to the present .

So I'll still be around, just only for a few minutes daily, until I finish sweeping up the mess at work.  If you message me and aren't getting a reply in a timely manner, that's why.  I hope to be back in action here, fully, by about mid to late May.
