It's my Jefferson Airplane life

We're rounding the corner of 79th Street
Onyx and I
Making sure the coast is clear
She doesn't like busses
A bus stop is there
I could avoid the stop but...
She needs to get used to them
They're everywhere here
She's getting better
This isn't small town Texas
An adopted hound
We've had her close to 4 months now

It's early morning
Wind is calm and not as cold as usual
I'm thinking about poetry and DUP
All that it takes to write here now
Latest chapter is bots and privacy
Then I see some lovely purple flowers
Growing in the tree pits
Now I'm starting to think about coffee
Something about Spring
The air moist and a slight overcast day
It's my Jefferson Airplane life
Goose bumps, Psychedelics and promise

Author's Note
I grew up on listening to Jefferson Airplane.
They were my band. Still are a million years later.  If you want to know about life they were and still are a heady band and ahead of their times.  Just listen to "Eskimo Blue Day" and you'll listen to a warning about climate change in 1969.

Coffee is brewing
