A Plea from an Undying Heart

What I wouldn’t do
To have you once again darling

My life keeps going
moving
changing
All without you

And I cannot bear it
I cannot help but think
Our time was cut short by unforeseen forces

But they are all too foreseen.
For it was you,
You were the one that left me.

The true reason?
I will never know
But it will haunt me into eternity.

For my love
I plead and beg
Return to me

I could promise you all the
Gold and silver and jewels
Of the world

But those I do not possess
Only my simple tune of rhyme
But neither of those things
Do you cherish it seems

I will give you all my words, my love
All of it, it’s all yours to take
Anything you want

I just beg of you,
Please return my heart.

Author's Note
I really thought after just a couple of poems it would help me feel better about the breakup but here I am still missing him
