The Softest Revenge
Become an angel among men.
Beautiful and soft and ethereal.
And unrelenting and strict and unwavering.
Become something soft so soft that my wings will carry me above and keep those undeserving from touching or experiencing my holiness.
The holiness in having the privilege of being on my level.
No one gets that privilege except the chosen saints themselves.
And may god rest their souls on the day they choose to betray me.

A God's Envy?
Sometimes I wonder
If the gods are envious of us
Of the people made in their image
Because we are different than them
We own individuality
But, the gods are what makes up us
So doesn’t that mean that everything
that makes us unique they also share?
They don’t have a singular trait
That they do not share with mankind.
So sometimes I wonder,
Are the gods envious?
Envious of the way our voices
sing melodies all different and true?
Envious of the way our bodies are all different
and...
If the gods are envious of us
Of the people made in their image
Because we are different than them
We own individuality
But, the gods are what makes up us

Words of All and None
My words breeze by
like a tumble in the wind
A strange cat
waltzes by
and I find myself wordless
For a world without words is a beautiful one
but a world with is a tragedy
because you can know of the beauty you missed
and long for it
It makes us forget the world
right where we are
and we stand
our eyes glazed by nostalgia
I find my words once again
And carry on describing
something even unknown to me
For the vague few
who may find beauty in them

An Uprooted Cremone
I'm glad to be on my way again.
A piece of me will always be with you however,
I carry a small bit of you with me
That is of our memories
And now I'm ready to let it go
I'm ready to be once again
who I used to be
I want to move past it all
For I am much larger than the heartache I endure
I am the aftermath. A fresh rain.
It is time to rebuild, this time with the caution lines.
I'm excited for my life without you.
Although it would be nice if you were here
I am still human in the end, my lovely.

A Plea from an Undying Heart
What I wouldn’t do
To have you once again darling
My life keeps going
moving
changing
All without you
And I cannot bear it
I cannot help but think
Our time was cut short by unforeseen forces
But they are all too foreseen.
For it was you,
You were the one that left me.
The true reason?
I will never know
But it will haunt me into eternity.
For my love
I plead and beg
Return to me
I could promise you all the
Gold and silver and jewels
Of the world
...

A Tired Secret
My brain whirls and whirls
comparable to a broken washing machine
When did it start spiraling?
A question I don’t have the answer to
My life is something untold.
And like a icarus to the sun,
I yearn to know my own story
Something to be my own destruction
The only story I know is not my own
but a poem of a slicing razor precision
This poem is none and all
It is somehow not my story in plain ink
but my story in metaphors and lines
My story of elaborate symbolism and cries
My story is told you...

A nightmare, nothing more.
My mind blurs together
I do not know start from end
And I am staring at that black hoodie again.
All I can hear is that ringing
It’s everywhere.
It pounds into my head a constant buzz.
I cannot pry my eyes from it.
I reach out alike in a trance for it
I grasp it and bring it close
It’s smells like you.
And your home.
And your cats.
And you.
And for a moment
A moment.
It is silent.
I close my eyes
And I tell myself
It’s all a horrible, terrible
Nightmare...
I do not know start from end
And I am staring at that black hoodie again.

Stars of my Nebula
The stars freckle and shine
Across the sky
Alike to how my freckles
Dot and mark my body
My decrepit, dying body
One day it will return to the earth
And I will become one
with the soil, wind, and rain
I am beautifully dying
My being an exploding nebula
Of thoughts and ideas and feelings
I know myself more than I ever will
When I am lying a nebula of freckles and poetry.
