As full and round as Aphrodite's breast
Arose the moon in late winter gold
And by a diaphanous mist caressed
As sweetly as whispered nothings told
Into the ear of a lover obsessed
With some entendre urbanely drolled,
Then into a flirtation coalesced
With Luna herself for the centerfold
In teeming evening cloud gown manifest;
An abounding glory to behold,
Like Dolly Parton's hemispheric chest,
With nipples by dishabille extolled
Or a T-shirt contest Octoberfest
Of Pan-flute Oreads uncontrolled...
And Dionysus...in cardiac arrest!

Actually, the moon was absolutely spectacular last night. And when I look up tonight… I’ll be thinking about titties.

A great piece with a tremendous flow and a delicious weave of mystical, flirty and funny. Also, titties.

I let the rhymes take over for awhile and when I was done I realized I had arrived at an odd number of lines!
But then I re-read, and re-read, and ultimately decided to live with it.
I wanted few things more than to titty fuck two of the brightest lunar hemispheres I could possibly get together long enough for the event. But how? Of course! Dolly Parton!
I had to resort to the magic of the sonnet, and continue to devote it to the thoracic glory of Lady Bosom!
Only the combined powers of astronomical resplendence and the testosteronal inertial guidance of man-mind could make such a grandiloquent comparison transpire!
Cut to cigarette close up...and fade to black.
