Untitled 1

Mother,
Don't leave her side.
Ever.

I will stay listening,
If ever a word,
Shall escape your lips.

I wish to hear your song,
Your harmonious voice,
Once again.

At least listen,
To my prayer,
If you won't speak to me.

She needs you more than I do.
Keep watch over her.
Please.

I worry.
Will she forgive me?
Will you forgive me?

I'm so sorry.

Mother,
Do you remember,
When sorrow killed me,
And apathy had the remedy?

Do you remember,
When blood wept onto my hand,
And you so eagerly drank?

Well,
Apathy is no where to be found.
Instead is a person.

I was stubborn,
In saying that I didn't deserve them,
When they cared about me.

It seems like I can't stop hurting those closest to me.
Those who try to save me.
Those who actually care.
