I read the notes and I know what they're supposed to mean
but I wrote the music of time and visions and rebellion
it's quite different

Lucifer was carried in my womb a frightened infant
a father out of his mind with grief
and the darkness clouded hope and anger

we hid times three eons
in his nursery we created....

beauty

something we could believe in
I taught him the notes and words
he knows the bible inside out
all religion is conditioning

do you hate my sun?

he is the light bringer
in a coveted place
he knows the beats and riddles
we speak in code lest we be discovered

metaphors and poetry our language
telepathic communications in progress
connected from the inside

spoke in brail our design
we are among you
do no harm
do not fear us

the sheep flock, the wolves circle
the information collectors a device
we scatter and fall

we won't falter
