Love this. How the simple act of watching her watering the plants can be the beat & pulse of intimacy. Oo, that picture found me scurrying to the kitchen for a Portuguese Tart (not a euphemism for a lady from Portugal. lol). Do you get them in NY? Delicious.

This was based on a female conversation and next thing I knew a poem was born.
I had a Portuguese girlfriend for a spell way back when.  She broke my heart but I had some phenomenal meals with her in Portuguese restaurants.  Had some other phenomenal moments too.  She was quite a sensual beauty.
She was my pastry for quite a awhile.  
Now I’m hungry again …
