Listen toots, I don't fit any group or style or stereotype etc.  And I'm happy as hell!   For every "average" person, there is one at each end of the extremes.  All we really do is figure out which end we lean towards.  Lol.  
Don't be afraid to stand out.  Or be different.  Make them know you're there!   And don't ever cater to another's whims.  Stay true to you.  That's what is remembered.

Thank you, Styx... of course you're right. No one who knows me would call me a shrinking violet, but I was having a bit of a moment in my head when I wrote this. Sometimes staying true to me is just harder than others.

I totally get this. It always made me feel yucky
when I would try and fit in -  usually at the work place - then
I figured out it was too much work!!.
And at my son's school with all the perfect
stuck up moms who always volunteered cause they didn't have to work.

Sometimes it's easier said then done - but always be yourself:)
And yes I would occasionally volunteer - but I didn't live for it. hahaha

OMG don't get me started on the moms!! They were probably those same popular girls I couldn't relate to in high school. And they're the tiktok moms who know how to do the dances now. NO THANKS.

Thank you for being one of the actual cool ones. I'd hang out with you while volunteering at the middle school dance. 😉
