Garden of Delights
I gave you things
I gave you what I didn't have at hand
I gave you the sea of my body
I gave you the sugar I had
under the fingernails
there were algae in your hair
but there were no leaves on the ground
I gave you an umbrella
to walk your faces in the garden
I gave you everything that was not in me
there were roses on your elbows
but I didn't see petals on the floor
I gave you my hand
but you threw me to the ground
you covered your ears and pretended
not to have my eyes on your hand
