The dark has come to embrace my heart.
But as I see my life, I break apart.
This is not, what I wanted to see!
This is not, what I wanted to be!

Blood and hate and nothing else.
All these lies a human tells,
all the promises, we always break.
When we want to dream, we stay awake.

We want to build a world of dreams where we are king or queen.
But as we enter our wishes, we will never be seen.

I close my eyes, the darkness calls and I say my last wish.
I take a step, I cannot see, all I feel is anguish.

I leave my body, take a look, walk away.
I lived too long in sin to pray.
My friends all cry in sorrow.
But they still have tomorrow.
