I feel curiosity in this - the what if factor. I agree with Kelani - let it be.
Sometimes it's better not to open that can of worms. But I totally get it:(
If it was meant to be - it would have happened without you even trying.

Again - loving your art!!!

There are fringe romances where you could but know you shouldn't and this was definitely one of them.  Sit on your hands kind of feelings but still holding back knowing someone would get hurt. Neither odds us needed that.

I went through my recent paintings and this jumped out at me.
A lot of blues and some sad reds for emotion.

Sometimes the tide of life is fickle.  It brings you back what you cast aside, as well as what you simply let go of.  
When we write things down, it becomes a message in a bottle of time.  And thus the winds of fate just may steer that tide along.  
When written enough, even myth becomes reality.  

Excellent write, Mr Speak.  Well written and thought inducing message included within.

This is really beautiful. So often beauty is wrapped in sadness. It's interesting to think about the evil that beauty can bring attracting the darkness. And so often that darkness has it's own magnetism to it for whatever reason. And it's interesting how sometimes a moment is all it takes to know there is chemistry, attraction, and so much potential to unleash that passion. And we have all met people I think where we wonder why we didn't take it further, or wish we could. Perhaps circumstances or just being shy, in a rush or whatever. It's hard not to wonder what could have been though sometimes. This is definitely another side of you, there is so much emotion in this. I can feel that admiration and a sense of loss; loss of the opportunity to know this person better.

I'm gratified that you see the beauty of attraction in this poem.
Sometimes you just connect with someone but you know deep down as much pleasure they might bring, the possibility of deep psychological pain is paramount.  I chose to walk on and let things be as moment.

This is beautiful. How older generations would write journal entries, well written with a tinge of poetic flair.  

I feel the melancholy in this.

You have to take the high road sometimes when all you want you to do is take the easy road.  Then you know where  that takes you, right into a ditch.  Truth is there are no easy roads.   Think enough was said between us where we could part as near friends.  I guess that's the best I could and can do and just let it be.  
Appreciate your visit on this one.  It's good to hear your thoughts.
