Universal Appeal
I'm in cahoots with Father Time
Forward...ever forward, I say,
To only serve the freshest day
With my obnoxious night time rhyme
Which some will tell me is a crime,
By any aesthetic measure,
And will bring no greater pleasure
Than gay Parisian pantomime.
Yet ask the French, "Oh, why so gay?"
And they will show their paradigm,
With an invisible display,
That can be done in any clime
From the foamy surf of Biscay Bay
To the frosty peaks of Jotunheim!
