In a hurry

I ran with all my legs.
Ran ran ran ran.
Dripped on the stones of the ground.
It rained rivers and streams...
Dogs and cats and dogs and cats.
I ran as if I still had
the breath of wild lions.
I ran, I ran, I corrected lines.
Complete trajectories in hand.
I ran, I slipped, I wrote
As if time cuts me off
and my feet couldn't stand it anymore...
The stones that others
had in the pockets and the bread
butchered by the devil.
Ran in all directions
as always did
on the long sunny days of Ceylon.
