Would we see any light if it weren't for the shadows?

I don't go out of my way looking for difficulties, but having more good days than bad makes life easier.

Boundaries and letting go...

It's something I'm truly working on.... Me, being a fucking horrible (epic, really) grudge holder, is so so so tiresome. Yes, I improve my boundary perimeters and desperately try my hand at letting it go.... daily.  
 
Which is by far my hardest self improving /enlightening task I've charge myself with... ever!

I really hear that. Letting go of the stuff people load us up with is a double burden, right.

I keep repeating, "I am not a victim; I'm a volunteer."  I know I do not want to volunteer to carry those weights at all. Convincing myself to abandon my own miseries and walk away ought to be easy.  Yet, I torture myself. It's not like their craziness wasn't punishment enough, now I have to match it?

Expectations are an invitation to disappointment, I swear.

If only I would follow my own incredible advice! Lol.

We agree with the previous comments, you always put out top quality pieces. You're a little hard on yourself at times, it's almost maddening. But that maybe why your stuff is so great, you're your own worst critic. Another one to tight Lady  

It's my nature to be self punishing; I'm getting better at acceptance, it's a long learning curve... (for me!)
