Dear N,

I felt the suffocation of my own issues in this write. I think the words drown and sink were the triggers. For me there are certain people who smother the life force no matter what I give and I think my interpretation of your poem has illuminated that for me. I dig the photo. It looks like a pencil drawn torso? Very cool and the write is very great. 😊

The weight of the world is like stones in a suspected witches pocket. Sometimes we float other times we sink.  The photo is actually of a half burnt log in a fire pit and I tweeked it until it was art. 😘

The life of an empath is made even more difficult by the fact that they don't get to choose who to empathize with. You have to feel that energy everywhere and it cannot be ignored. Those that can ignore this all-encompassing energy are not empaths (though will sometimes claim to be...probably some shit they saw on FB) and these people will never be aware. But you will be acutely aware. It's one big viciously sad & beautiful circle. It's really what makes a poet special.

It's like pain and anxiety have a smell or vapor thats released and only certain people can smell it,, its like the opposite of smelling salts instead you get tired or weak..

I grew up in house where no one listened I learned young to say the most impact full statement in the least amount of time in order to be heard. Also swearing turned their ears on too. Thank you Feral.
