Waiting
for perfection,
she settles
for nothing.
No romance
evolves
from nothing
never solved,
and this is
the solution
to perfection.
She wants
so much more,
just so
just right,
just
at the pinnacle
of perfection,
and nothing that
she dreams
to wait for
holds a candle
to the dreams
he has
in store
for her
if only she
would so let go
of what
she waits for
in perfection.

What's more electric than finding beauty and ravenous attraction amongst another's gorgeous 'imperfections'?!?! I honestly find that incredibly sexy... I'm nowhere near perfect and certainly don't expect it...
Perfectly imperfect is intoxicating and enchanting.
It's all in the eye of the beholder, cliché but not wrong.
Pirates.... (Uggh) Role play, maybe!
I feel like with age comes a better understanding that perfect is a mythical fantasy.
Waiting is a slippery slope, too... you can waste your most precious years, wishing it all away instead of basking in that particularly lovely glow of aftercare.... to name one, of many potential pleasures....
