Fat Cats

Fat cats, your pockets shouldn't be bulging like that
Clear your minds by giving it all back
Fat cat, how much do you need before it stops making sense
Being broke and needy are no longer your defense

To see the world I climbed atop a garbage heap
There were so many below me screaming for just a peep
From here upon my throne made of trash
I could see the line where our two worlds clashed

The have-nots were rebelling, the illusion was fading fast
The fat cats had depended on an illusion that simply couldn't last
To had watched them with everything and yet we laughed
There is no mystery that a spell must had been cast

We are glad to go to war ensuring our masters wealth and power
While our masters, the fat cats, plot death and destruction from their glass towers
Towers of glass and steel lining both sides of the street
They decide from up there, who should starve and who should eat

On this street of glassed deceit and misery
Food needed to feed the starving becomes commodities
To the fat cats nothing but numbers moving across a screen
While the homeless die in their doorways supposedly unseen

Picture these fat cats slapping each other on the back
Stepping over the have-nots, sending what's needed here around the map
Fuck where the need is greatest, the price is up per share over there
They say that they care about babies dying, but in reality they don't care

What will they do when their military refuse to fight any war with special interest attached
When the have-nots realize that the haves don't really care if they come back
To travel the globe demanding that they have and get their way
And if not our have-nots will battle yours and save our day
