Light yet dark, funny yet disturbing, like a lot of great comic poetry. And great black humour too. That sort of humour is really hard to do well because it can easily come across as cruel or stupid, so you’ve really achieved something in this little piece, opening up room for interpretation while on another level just providing a good laugh.
My only possible critique would be that Aryans as I’ve seen it written elsewhere is spelt with a y, but I knew instantly what the word was and its more phonetic spelling here can be seen as a part of the poem’s meaning, to do with language and how units, letters, are stretched to capacity to facilitate different meanings.

I opologize for my tardiness and thank you much for your presence and thoughts

okay look dammit!
I've been reading this poem for a week!
I get the metaphor and Arians & indeed Aryans and the swastika part.
but which ass went and spilled wine on the letter "z" and has anyone tried that bicarb stuff with cold water and lemon, to get out yet?
and who ever took the fooking "z" will you just hand it in! this is to damn confusing for me, and my brain is going to explode!
thanx

hullo good fellow
OK. I'm going to need you to sit down and have some kind of fast working inebriant at hand...
there has been a 'mysterious' letter Z painted into the the front/ sides/ tops/ backs etc of the Russian War machines. as you can imagine there has been much talk and speculation about what the letter means since the invasion
it's hard to say with conviction which side tainted the letter. you're going to have to figure that one out (time for the inebriant)
*hat tip*
thanks much, good person

Oh ffs!
Can't believe I didn't associate it to that!
(Blonde week much)
Well now I can say you've got a little streak of genius on the page there mate.
Really clever indeed.
Thanks for that!

Hm. When I think of the letter Z in the context of the discussions under your poem, I think of the word Zog, which to my understanding is some kind of conspiratorial racist pejorative against Jews. Words, letters, they hold power, it's lightning in a bottle, a bell struck against the concepts we have personally absorbed into our neural network. One thing I try to do when something strikes me is to take a moment before I respond in any way, in most instances not respond at all. Anyhow your writing is always thought provoking because of your genuine presence and sense of global atmosphere.

I am reminded of lines from Dire Straits' "Ride Across The River";
"Oh nothing going to stop then as the day follows the night
Right become a wrong the left become the right"
