Bourgogne (NaPoWriMo 2022 #4)
A beautiful battleship in blue
fair fictitious flower of France
who outpaced my expectations
with a penchant for speed
and made me love her,
for ships are female,
worthy qualities
for her firepower flew true
and has penetrated my heart's citadel
with enough velocity
to promptly make her my choice
for battles upon the expansive blue,
and wander from the Royal Navy
for a round or two or three or more!
