My Fleeting Love
Love is all hype but we all need connection,
We cant all be alone that’s not even a suggestion,
now sex, thats a concept I can understand,
when two people meld together no longer woman or man,
get to the end and the world disappears,
no one else left cant focus cant hear,
for that split second when ur mind is truly clear,
listen to the world and tell me what u hear,
fear, it’s the reason we connect,
no one wants to go an leave nothing but regret,
remembrance a semblance of true immortality,
your memory lives on through your friends and your family,
make a connection reach out feel touch, everyone needs it but love is too much,
an over dose of lust, overbearing trust,
love is not eternal but is great sex enough? hush, don’t interrupt me,
you think love is everything but where might ur last love be,
time heals all wounds but were runnin outa time,
me and you for one night we'll be jus fine,
So if love is what you want then love me for this night,
ill treat you like you need let you scratch let you bite,
jus like you like,
With all your strength all your might
When theres nothing left it's because were all right.
tommrows another day, we'll go our own direction,
baby girl its ok, this isn't a rejection,
your perfectly perfection, and perfection to me,
is a moment thats fleeting, the more time together the less perfect we'll be,
if time heals it destroys just as easy,
If we stay together love will just tease me
it's not sleazie, its jus the way it is,

If love is true passion then whats better than one display,
as the days keep goin u feel the passion slip away,

when u can have one perfect moment thatl never dissipate.
Love may be blind, but I kno ill make u see,
even though my love is fleeting this night will set you free,
match all three, of your last flings combined,
that one perfect moment burned forever in ur mind,
back on the grind, leaven love at a loss,
don’t keep score but what lasting love have u come across.
Maybe the majority aint the rule, ur a fool to believe statistics,
but I haven't found a woman yet where we worked through the logistics.
Characteristics, the lil things u love, in the end those same traits are the ones your so sick of,
so rise above,
try n work it out,
but work is what it is and wont work if theres doubt,
life is too short to waste with a person you dispise,
avoidin eye contact while steppin over lies,
back n forth in the motions but your not truly there,
life is a bitch and bitches aint fair.

read. You have however written so much in one go that its not very cohesive. Personally, I would prefer proper words and not text-speak like UR for "your" and i for "I", for example. However, poems are the expressions of the respective authors. Keep writing. Good job.

Yea I was being kind of lazy...tried to write it out while it was still in my mind, wrote it on NotePad so I didn't have spell check. I tried to go through and correct the idiocy, but I missed some. This is one of my first poems though = ) Hopefully with all the feedback I'm getting I will improve quickly
