Deductible

I am sooooooo happy
That I am not a condo owner here in Montreal.
There was this news bit on TV just recently.
A fellow who lives in one of these huge towers
Had a water problem in his kitchen.
Whose fault is it?  His? The person upstairs?
Who pays for the damage? He does? the person upstairs?
The condo association?
Plus: the tenant-condo-owner (for: in a condo you are still
But a sort of tenant) has his own home insurance coverage
But with a FIFTY thousand  $$$$$$$ deductible.
FIFTY thousand deductible.  I have a five hundred deductible
On my little hole and I find that a bit steep.
