Lazeray
Melted into a Lazeray
Crashing into time
As a millisecond ride
Racing lanes inside my mind
Anti-gravity hair radiation
Beaming in all directions
Recalling recollections
Brain of mirrored sections
Polarized blinging light
Amplified infrared eyes
Speeding through pathways
Following the wavelengths
Guiding invisible ultraviolet
Speeding up alpha and theta waves
Avoiding the anxious dead cryolite
Within the fever of my troubled mind
All the time saved
by a Lazeray

I'm jealous. Sounded like fun!!
I'm down with anything called Disco Biscuits!!!
Too funny. The name itself is a poem. hahah
I love the lines of it. zig zag or horizontal or vertical.
Polished light that glows with speed. The bright boldness and
strength of that glow. Thought I'd put myself into one and
see where I went. Incorporated my mind into it and this is
what I came up with.
As always just lovely to hear from ya:)
Thanks for digging my lazer show

Such a vibrant emanation unfolding in perception
in strokes of brilliance.
I totally dig lasers.
I was watching this Showtime special on UFO's
yesterday and they were talking about this Soviet
technology, in which they projected laster at a satellite, to in effect, blind the satellite.
Amazing piece, Adelphina.

Hi Cipher
So glad you enjoyed this. I actually did some homework on the brain. Theta and Alpha brain waves. This is where, apparently, I spend a lot of time. LOL Put myself into a lazeray and off I went into my mind to speed and heat things up.
Love the song too. I wanted to do my own version but in my own words.
Thanks for the snaps on my avatar:)
That is me when I was a sophomore in High School.
My ex (the one before my husband) did my portrait for his senior art project. It's in charcoal.
My mom still has it hanging in her the hallway back home:)

Very glad you listened to the Ka album.
I very much like unique styles,
in all genres and mediums of art...
And find great inspiration in these places,
as I find great inspiration in your unique style.
I am fascinated by "brain wave technology".
Especially in conjunction with ASC (Altered
States of Consciousness)
I have a friend who did this thing where
they play a sort of frequency and gauge the reactions,
and then proceed to insert different
frequencies, for the purposes of rewiring the brain...
To help with all sorts of things...
(not shore I believe in the efficacy of such procedures)
And then those headphones that
project frequency into different brain hemispheres...
and can give you super strength and such...
or how some have opted for frequencies
instead of drugs.?.
I have always liked music.
Since I was like... Shit... like 15 years old?
(I actually just found the
writing table from that time!)
(It is like a fold up one that could have
come from a dumpster... With drawings on it...
There is even a "Cipher" written on
the dusted, verdigris surface! :)))
I could always tell when I would
"enter the zone" when like the music faded
and my concentration entered ultra states.
It was like a drone?
I never thought about what others might
do or not do to "enter the zone"...
but...
I read this Robert Creeley interview...
And...
He described the exact same process.
How he would listen to music
until he entered this sort of "droning state"...
But...
I think this "drone" is a brain wave!
Like getting a wave between sleep/awake,
where divergent and novel thinking takes place...
The wave where you can access different
hemispheres of the brain/mind...
And in this way...
I think its like "neurons that fire together,
wire together"...
And the more you enter such a state,
the easier it becomes to enter this state...
And the more expansive it becomes?..
Tis fascinating stuff.

Ever play laser tag?! It's a blast, once you get good enough to not get killed right away. Lol.
I enjoyed your little ode to lasers, even though I couldn't stop thinking of laser tag. Lol.
I got a sense of science fiction when reading this, too.
(Tesla was a fascinating man!)

Hi Styx:)
No I have not played but I have always wanted to. There was always a line and I'm to impatient to wait. LOL
It is now on my bucket list amigo.
I love science fiction. Makes me think of the
lightsaber in Star Wars. Ha!!
Oh! and the band Tesla is awesome!!!
My fav is Little Suzie and Signs!!
Listening to Little Suzie right now!!!!!
"Don't bring her down
she's a lot like you
She'll be richer by far if
her dreams come true
Little Suzie is on the up!!"
Awesome Song!!

Umm Hello
So I took a sabbatical, was away for a while. It's been magical returning and finding "gems" .
New poets that weren't around when I left, and some amazing poetry.
I have a habit, when I haven't read someone before of going through their older poems first before looking at the new ones. It's been a thing I do for years. Your book left me with so many fantastic images and emotions and they made me warm to your content and writing style quickly!
"Poetry Stained Teeth" was magnificent! I adore everything about that write. The likeness of a poem I wrote years ago "Pen- Between - Teeth" was uncanny. That said, yours is better and I just loved the entire poem. It is special.
To mention other special parts that I'll keep close to the heart...
"playing his Harley serenade
I realize nothing is better
than Motorcycles & Mermaids"
and the image the stanzas before it created, were special.
that Harlequin moment for me!
I just wanted to thank you, your writing leaves a little spot on the internet, where one can grab a coffee and sink in, and fade into literary zone of peaceful reading. Thank you.
If ever you publish a book in the future, please inbox me, I'm a buyer of your work!
Beautiful stuff! Thank YOU for the reads!

Hi Al,
Such an amazing comment you gave me.
Will remember on my deathbed!!! Not trying to be morbid - just left a stamp of warmth on me:)
I'm kinda speechless at the moment - and that is not me.
I can ramble for days. lol
When writing I like to go places. In some cases disappear for a while
and let whatever voice manifests and take the wheel. Not on all occasions but sometimes you get in that zone. I'm sure you
have been in that special place before:)
Again - thank you so much taking a look at my stuff:)
Made my year amigo!!!!

Dear A,
I felt transported reading this, as though I was jettisoning through space and time to another galaxy. It was a pure fantasy ride after that, I decided I’d float around in quiet clouds with pretty colors. The important part is that I was by myself and completely content. Really loved the quiet calm of this.
