Lazy Pen

Good days.  Bad days.   We all have them.............

"The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak."

Sometimes.

I know it can be so very difficult and we all have our own process.

I was enlivened to see this, new post, from you...
As I rather enjoy where your pieces take me.

I truly do think that you have such wonders to reveal,
in the depths of the ink, in that pen.

You know...

I just wrote this thing called "Flowers of the Vicious Killers."

A strange title perhaps...

I was thinking of the Elite Aztec Warriors.

They had the "Jaguar Warriors" and the "Eagle Warriors".

But something of note, that I think of is...

They all wrote poetry!

(I found that rather amazing.)

And you know what the most common subject
of their writings was?..

Flowers.

I do think that poetry, regardless of the subject
matter, is "the act of a warrior".

And the act of a warrior is something pure,
a pure way of being.

Never stop writing...  And always know that
even when you are not "writing" you are writing.

You know...  

Before I started posting here...

I hadn't written any poetry really,
for...  Shit man...  

Over a decade?!?

(I mean I was writing still...  but not...  Poetry...
Which was/is my great love.)

...  I think I believe that the universe has a way
of whispering/beckoning our pens.

And whether we act upon the callings...  The callings continue
and the evolution, which would come about via the pen, continues under the surface.

But yes...  

I just share this to perhaps inspire in some way?

The universe is magical and you are beloved, therein.

Always know that.

Yes, it happens
sometimes that pen just won't budge ..
sometimes it just needs some rest

Sometimes words fail us all ... Bless and love ... ..

It may linger for a while.
It's an enigmatic write. Well done.
