Beautiful Flaws
Everyone is perfect,
That's what we've been lead to believe.
No scars, nothing broken, on our tapestries
But
Let me tell you something,
The next time someone puts you down:
Don't listen to their words,
Just drown them out.
Because you've got
Beautiful flaws
That make you you.
Beautiful flaws,
There's nothing you can do.
I know it's hard to live with yourself;
All the bottled emotions you keep hidden on
The shelf.
Please look for the sunshine, and happy days.
And if you can't, find a way to dance in the rain.
Because you've got
Beautiful flaws
That make you you.
Beautiful flaws,
There's nothing you can do.
If we were all perfect,
The world would be bland.
If we were all perfect,
We wouldn't be hand in hand.
We need to learn to love our
Beautiful flaws
That make us who we are.
Beautiful flaws,
Different like every single star.
We've got
Beautiful flaws,
That's the way we're made.
Beautiful flaws,
I love me and I'm glad I stayed.
That's what we've been lead to believe.
No scars, nothing broken, on our tapestries
But
Let me tell you something,
The next time someone puts you down:
Don't listen to their words,
Just drown them out.
