Reach for the Stars
There are a lot of talented people out there
Tugging on your heart strings
Who no matter how good they sing
They'll never see what their talent brings
There are a lot of talented people out there
Who go through life like they're unaware
Who know but they don't care
And they're happy with the life they share
::Chorus::
It takes practice, timing, and luck
And perseverance to get through the muck
It takes people who believe in you
it takes the will to see things through
Keep reaching for the stars
Always be who you are
Just sing it like you mean it
Sing like you feel it
Sing it like you were meant to
We'll see if the star is meant for you
There are a lot talented people out there
Who want to be something they're not
Who hate the talent they got
Who will never be happy with their lot
And there are a lot of people out there
Who wish it was their turn
With no talent they can concern
Who'd give anything to feel the burn
Chorus
