Transparency into spell casting, which empowers the spell.

I take onto myself this energy to be multiplied and projected upon my true will,
and reflected back to thee, upon your most sacred pathway.

Ohhh dear lady, my heart goes out to you in solidarity and understanding. Our darknesses can weigh us down more than we realize, at times. I know it's not a 'cure-all' but writing out my hurt and pain has definitely helped me to lessen the burdens that I'm prone to carry; funneling that darkness and storing it in a place where it can no longer wreck havoc. That solace that you mentioned is part of it, absolutely. I also find writing as a majorly therapeutic life saver.  
 
My day is always made a bit 🔆 for having you in it. I'm so thankful that you stopped by to visit and for the thoughtful insightfulness you've left with me.

Writing it (the worst of my darkness) out at least puts that darkness in it's own place to dwell, rather than inside my head or heart. It's not a magic wand, no... but writing it 'away' has afforded me the ability to let a lot of pain diffuse or funnel off into a place that's healthier for me.... A definite game changer.

The nightmares of our past can only control us when we give them the power to do so... I say that, knowing full well, that being able to avoid doing that, is a fuck ton easier said than done. I know it's really difficult... I do... We can only try and do our best.

Sending all my best wishes for luck and strength in that venture, if needed. ✨ 💫 ✨

It makes the reader easily and immediately assume that the events which are consecutive, parallel and contignous in the poem take place in the beacon that *lights the way* ... ...

I feel like this is a notion that we can all get behind as we move forward in our life. We learn what is good for us, and what seeks to drain us. We learn to ignore all that does not serve. And I guess life rewards us to that end.

Sometimes it's a tiny spark that ignites to really make an impactful difference. I know that's what happened to me here. I can't remember whose or maybe it was a compilation, but that ember of 'inspired fire' to create this poem came after reading several works here on DUP, spurring the contemplation of my own little battles.
There's such warmth and a real sincere sense of appreciation that I have, knowing you were able to feel a bit of hope, within.
