me I'm a little depressed today I don't why but it's there...

Good evening, lovely Brenda... I'll start with (hugs) of solidarity and empathy for any depression felt, as I too, had a rough day... It's actually my dad's birthday today (I was a total Daddy's girl) he would have been 79. So,It's very hard to celebrate when I still feel such a big hole left by his enormous presence. I put on a brave face and some faux (ha ha) light-heartedness around other family, almost all day, which left me used up and feeling hollow by the time I got home, to myself.... I know my situation might be different but that depression and darkness, was right beneath my surface.....  
bubbling all day.... so I definitely can relate.  
 
I hope you have better days ahead, my dear ☀.... I'll be here, in your corner.... rooting for you and knowing that it WILL improve.

As are you, dear Honoria! ....I think I've learned the (real) definition of compassion from reading and paying attention to your example... Sometimes, when deep emotions,( like those that cause us all here to write our poems), are so intense and seemingly pummeling my insides to the extent that it's almost hard to breathe; along comes your presence, YOUR way of viewing and describing the world around you.... and all of a sudden, like a godsend— everything is okay and more often than not, funny, too. It's Honoria magic!! 🎩🐰 🎱🔮  
 
That's what I've yearned from you and damn, if I don't try my best to emulate.

My poem total is off for some reason, Rew... if you pull up the list, it's a total of over 330 poems (l think) written to date....lol... I have no idea why it reflects wrong on the face of my profile ... haha... That actually is pretty impressive.... if it was true! ... lol!... it's not, by a large margin!!  
 
It's nice dropping by your corner! When I do, I usually find myself enchanted and quite pleased... ☺

I also hope you enjoyed watching the marching bands on the Macy's parade.... I always do! My oldest sister marched in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in her High School marching band.. I want to say in 1980 or 81! She had a blast!
I never got a chance to go because before I was old enough, we moved out of state (to another) that had ZERO band programs in their public school system that were worth a damn or even remotely close to being  good enough to get an invitation to march there.
Ahhh so is life.... lol...
