crystalline cries
soar un nught skies
we float like dust
in our fiery lust

your velvet touch

I like how you "rhythm" in your own way.  Like a signature.  It's unique.  It's like a hand, with the fingers spread out.  Expansive yet still concise.

Thanks for the kinship of 'word love', Styxian ... lol! There are just some particular words that you really can (and do) develop an affinity for; in turn they stick in your craw, always there to work their way into spoken vocabulary or whatever it is that's being written in the moment. I have so many of those, crystalline being one of them. Hence, my total appreciation for you pointing that out. I get it!

Wonderful work Blue. I like that you structured this poem outside of the typical ABAB + syllable count format. The rhymes flow natural, as if in spoken word with a beautiful emotional tone.
