Deja Vu Yesterday

soft silken hair spread
on white hospital pillows
hands besides her
surrendered to his administrations

doe eyes looking into his brown eyes
trusting in his decisions
he knew the reasons
for her docile demeanour

breasts mound on white blanket
thrusting up in the cold of the room
his gentle hands caressed her body

she descended into swirling mists
desire mixed in exquisite pain
clinging through life by his fingers
borrowed air from his mouth

she exploded back to life
feeling his hands on her
her lips tasting of his
and they gazed at each other

for a brief moment
they were one
