Call People What They Are
If a man robbed you, what would you call him?
Would you describe him as a nice man?
Would you say the gentleman took away your money?
Who among you would not say he is a thief?
Is it wrong to call a fool a fool?
Is it wrong to call a wicked person a wicked person?
Is it wrong to call a liar a liar?
Is it wrong to call a murderer a murderer?
Is it wrong to call a rapist a rapist?
Is it wrong to call a homosexual a homosexual?
I must answer these questions with an emphatic no.
Why should I not call you what you are?
Your speech and action defile you.
Some people are just partial and dishonest.

The thing about this poem is, all the other examples are bad things. So in the context of the poem, you are doing far more than calling a homosexual a homosexual. You are equating homosexuals with thieves, fools, wicked people, liars, murderers, and rapists. Pretending that you are merely making an innocuous statement, while in reality you are making a far different kind. One far from innocuous. I'm sorry my friend, but your own poem fails the "fully honest" test. You praise hate and heartbreak. That is a heartbreaking thing to know about anyone.

A thief did not comment, a fool did not comment, a wicked person did not comment, a liar did not comment, a mudrerer did not comment, and a rapist did not comment, but homosexuals commented. So whomever the cap fit let them wear it.
This is the second poem I have seen by you, and the first was also anti gay. You would appear to have made it into one of your "issues." And if something unpleasant happened recently involving a heterosexual person, a poem equating all heterosexual persons with murderers, rapists, liars, fools, and wicked persons would be just as dishonest and wicked, even if the person writing it felt terribly aggrieved, or was hurt or traumatized badly. Your poem presents an equation. It is a wicked and dishonest equation. There is nothing to say which will change the truth of that.
