WATCHING A SPIDER

DECISION

As I drink my second cup of coffee,
I gaze across my office floor,
and to my surprise an unidentified,
not cleared by security, foe,
a back spider taking a slow stroll.
I watch as it slowly moves along;
not knowing there is a shoe
that has the capacity to
end his life waiting on my foot.
Spiders don't think like we humans think.
I wonder, shall I carry out the death penalty,
or shall I give him a pardon?
A really tough decision but one
that has to be made. The gracious
call is"Set the spider free".
I take a sheet of paper and Mr. Spider
crawls aboard and I escort him out the
door and front gate.
The 6' clock new reports:
"Condemned Spider Set Free."
The News Media is always on top
of breaking stories. Bravo.!
